How to get playlisted on the CMU-Tube
The CMU-Tube is our video and podcast service, which provides both interviews and features, as well as a wide range of music videos from our favourite bands past and present. There's more details about the CMU-Tube here.
We are constantly expanding and refreshing the CMU-Tube playlist - adding new videos and new artists into the mix.
The music videos featured on the CMU-Tube come from the MUZU video catalogue, so to be featured on the service you need to get your videos onto MUZU.
The good news is that this is really rather simple.
Any artist or label can set up a MUZU channel for free. Simply head on over to www.muzu.tv, click on the 'register' button in the top right hand corner, select 'industry register' and follow the instructions. You'll be signed up in minutes.
Then upload your videos through the 'dashboard' on your MUZU channel and email us the details to cmutube@cmumusicnetwork.co.uk. We'll go check them out, add our favourites to the CMU-Tube playlists and shout about the best in the CMU Daily and CMU Weekly. Hurrah.
And in doing this, you'll also find you've only gone and set up your own artist or label web-TV channel, providing you with a simply brilliant player that can be embedded on your own website, blog or social network pages. Read on to find out more about what you get from signing up to MUZU TV.
There's more information about the benefits of MUZU TV here.

How to put bands forward to play the CMU Social
The CMU Social is our monthly networking and showcase night at 229 in London. We present our favourite new and established bands, providing them with an opportunity to play in front of an industry and media audience, and to promote their upcoming releases through CMU.
For bands, playing at the CMU Social is a brilliant marketing opportunity. We provide the venue, the stage and backline, some drinks, and an audience of key industry and media people, journalists, reviewers and opinion formers. We also promote the performance and participating artists' upcoming releases to our audience of 13,000 key music people via the CMU Daily. You have the opportunity to showcase your music to this audience, playing a 20-30 minute set that showcases your work and upcoming releases.
There is more information about what playing the CMU Social offers and how it all works here.
To put your bands forward to play a future edition of the CMU Social, email andy@unlimitedmedia.co.uk with details of what releases you have coming up and a link to their music online, and he'll be in touch.
