A.Human's mix of pulsing synths, groovy bass lines and razor sharp guitars provide the perfect backdrop for vocalist Dave Human's psycho-monologues, which tackle such universal topics as women with knives for hands and men with deer heads.

The band released their debut album, 'The Third Hand Prophesy' in June this year via Wall Of Sound, and launched with a phenomenal live set at CMU Social (they answered the SSQ then as well - read those answers here).

Following the September release of new single 'Pacey Singer' they now play the latest edition of Twisted Licks this month, which seemed like as good excuse as any to pose our SSQs in their direction for a second time. Here goes...

Q1 How did you start out making music?
It started mostly by accident and turned into a situation we all felt comfortable with. A lot like crying.

Q2 What inspired your latest album?
Treason, gambling debts, caravans, guns, lying, laughing, stubble, hearts full of darkness, deserts, beauty, anger, love, loss, smoking, cat flaps and truncheons.

Q3 What process do you go through in creating a track?
We spin each other round until we're giddy, then we run through a darkened corridor trying to find the light switch. The person who finds the light switch first gets to choose the BPM.

Q4 Which artists influence your work?
Phats And Small, Basshunter, Talking Heads, Pulp, The Smiths, Deerhoof (for Kay) and loads of things.

Q5 What would you say to someone experiencing your music for the first time?
Sorry! I know we have problems, we have no right inflicting it on the rest of the world... Oh! You're enjoying it! Continue onwards then, dear friend.

Q6 What are your ambitions for your album, and for the future?
Well we have a Christmas song coming out that people will be able to download for free. It's a proper Christmas song, too. We are giving a little something back to this ever wonderful and changing planet. Keep an eye on our MySpace and you will see.
